There are several vacancies for adult psychiatrists in different public hospitals located in the south of Sweden, Norway and Denmark.
Right now we have various vacancies for psychiatrists with different profiles (e.g. with experience in affective and psychotic disorders, schizophrenia, addictions, geriatric psychiatry etc.) for both inpatient and outpatient work.
The psychiatrist will work in a multidisciplinary team together with nurses, occupational therapists, psychologists and psychotherapists. The work includes reception, diagnosis and treatment of patients, team sessions, meetings with the patient’s relatives, cooperation with the community, employment and insurance services.
The doctor will also have teaching activities and will be asked to participate in the training of younger colleagues and residents.
The hospitals offer a permanent contract. Before starting the employment the doctor and his family will benefit from a free intensive language course to learn the language.
Requirements:
• Specialist title in Psychiatry recognised in the EU
• Availability to complete the language intensive course
• Motivation for living and working in Sweden
Our Offer:
• Permanent contract after recognition of the title and trial period
• Salary starting from 5000€/gross per month (according to the valid collective agreement), with progression depending on experience and language level. Duties are paid separately
• Training courses within working hours

• A free language course program. Partners and children are also offered a language course
• Scholarship for the language course of 700€ monthly net, a supplement for children of a 70€ monthly net, free apartment and travel costs for the family
